Lil is a creative mum of two who has a deep passion for plants and all things Australian made.

She is best known for her beautifully crafted kokedamas - each one wrapped to perfection and designed to be displayed freestanding on a shelf or hanging with ease.

Lil thoughtfully chooses low-maintenance plants and shapes every moss ball with space to grow, ensuring your kokedama will bring beauty and joy for years to come.

She is also known for her plant-inspired polymer clay accessories - earrings, brooches and fridge magnets, with plants as her guiding muse.

Drawing inspiration from whimsical unicorn plant collectibles, timeless indoor greenery, and the delicate beauty of Australian flora, her work brings nature into wearable art.

When Lil isn’t creating or teaching the art of making kokedamas, she’s working as a theatre nurse, keeping up with her two not-so-little ones, lending a hand to her partner in the garden, or crafting plant-inspired polymer clay earrings to share her love of greenery.

Lil’s love of plants was rooted in childhood, surrounded by her mother’s thriving garden that filled both the house and the yard. That early wonder only deepened over the years.

In late 2018, Where The Green Things Are was born, after Lil had spent a year perfecting her kokedamas - quickly running out of family, friends, and shelf space for her growing collection. As her creations gained attention, people soon began to ask to share her technique.
